Stamps

December 2, 2013

It’s almost time for holiday stamps to appear. I realize letters are old school, but who doesn’t love a Christmas card? Especially the stamps.

I’m not a collector, but I love a limited edition. Some of the stamps I’ve enjoyed most,  commemorate books. The U.S. Postal Service has highlighted Dr. Seuss, Huckleberry Finn, Little House on the Prairie, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, to name a few. All classics. All wonderful.

I’d love to see The Hobbit on a stamp. Same with Dumbledore. And if we’re talking children’s classics, I’d recommend The Velveteen Rabbit, Winnie the Pooh, and The Rabbit Who Lost his Wings.

They take suggestions. What are yours?
